EI Assessment Tools

Genos EI measures the behaviors underpinning and supporting exceptional interpersonal relationships, and our expanding suite of EI products and methodologies have applications in three distinct phases: assess, develop, and apply.

Self Assessments:

Our assessment report based on an individual’s ‘self-only’ reported EI. This ‘all-in-one’ report is ideal for use with group facilitation or in workshop environments, and contains assessment results, relative EI strengths and developmental opportunities, and unique strategies to improve demonstrated EI behavior in the workplace.

Our second self-assessment report—this version splits assessment results and developmental strategies into two separate workbooks—ideal for use in one-on-one debriefing and coaching situations.

Multi-Rater Assessments:

Our assessment report based on an individual’s ‘self’ and other rater (manager, peer, direct report, client, supplier) reported EI. The multi-rater report is presented as two workbooks—the first containing assessment results, relative EI strengths and developmental opportunities. The second contains targeted developmental strategies and a journal to support the improvement of EI behavior in the workplace.

Our group reports contain aggregated data of a group or intact team’s self-only assessed or multi-rater assessed EI. Each report contains assessment results averaged across the group, and relative EI strengths and developmental opportunities for the group as a whole. The multi-rater version of the report contains aggregated data across each of the rater categories (manager, peers, direct reports, clients, suppliers).

Group reports are traditionally utilized in workshop facilitation to create a common awareness of a group’s relative EI strengths and areas for improvement.

Recruitment Reports:

Our EI-recruit report is designed for use within a recruitment and selection process—providing a useful data point within a broader recruitment/selection process. The report provides a comparison of an individual’s EI ‘self-only’ reported EI against an ‘ideal’ EI profile for a given role as determined by key stakeholders.
